Unemployment Extension: Reasons for Unemployment in the US

June 3rd 2011 -

Many people claim that the unemployment in the US was because of the global economic recession but there are many hidden reasons that never got into the limelight. One of the main reasons why unemployment rates in the US have gone up in recent times is growth of population. The Unemployment Extension became essential. In the last few years the rate of population growth has gone up significantly and therefore there are less job opportunities and more people who are ready to grab those opportunities.

On the other hand, many corporate and giant companies in the United States started moving their branches outside US which would help them to cut down their expenses. Many companies prefer to outsource their departments and therefore the same job opportunities were now available in countries like India, China and Philippines.

The low labor cost in these countries eventually forced other companies to outsource their departments to other countries which gave away a large chunk of opportunities outside US.
